Hand-picked Utah County happenings, straight to your inbox. No fluff, no spam, easy to leave.
Search for video production in Utah and most of what comes up is directories, plus one national company with a page for every town in the state. This list covers ten companies that actually have an office in Provo, Orem, Lehi, American Fork or Pleasant Grove, and says what kind of business each one is set up to film for.
For a small or mid-size Utah County business, start with Capture Films in Provo for commercials and brand films, Utah Valley Videos in Pleasant Grove for home builders, events and live streams, and Social Paragon in Lehi if you want new social videos every month for a flat fee. Creative Media Group in Orem fits training and corporate video, and Chamber Media in American Fork fits ecommerce brands that sell through paid social ads.
Capture Films works out of a suite on North University Avenue in downtown Provo and handles a project from script to the final edit: brand films, commercials, explainers, web series and digital ads, with 2D and 3D animation in house. One of the reviews on its homepage is from a service business owner who says he did not know what a shoot involved and the team walked him through it. If you have never hired a video crew before, that is the kind of hand-holding you want.
Utah Valley Videos has a studio on State Road in Pleasant Grove. A big share of its work is video and photos of custom homes for builders in the Utah Valley, St. George and Park City Parade of Homes. It also shoots brand films, training videos and event recaps, and runs multi-camera live streams for conferences and presentations. A builder with a model home to sell or a company holding a conference at a Lehi hotel should call here first.
Social Paragon sells video as a monthly subscription from an office on Triumph Boulevard in Lehi. Its pricing page lists plans at $695, $1,390 and $2,085 a month for one, two or three hours of filming, with unlimited editing and revisions. A plumbing company and a window and door company are among the customers quoted on its homepage. This suits an owner who wants a steady supply of short videos for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube more than one big polished piece.
Creative Media Group is on South Mountain Way Drive in Orem. It covers the whole job: concepts, scripts and storyboards, then a director, camera operator and lighting crew, then editing and motion graphics. Its own site says it works for government agencies and nonprofits as well as companies, and that it holds a GSA schedule for federal work. It also rents its 30 by 30 foot sound stage for $90 an hour or $650 a day, which helps if you already have a camera person and just need a clean room with lights.
Crew Pictures has a studio on North University Avenue in Provo and makes commercials and brand films with live action, animation and visual effects. The work on its homepage includes campaigns for Purple, Kizik and Bullfrog Spas, so this is a crew used to big product shoots. It offers a free video plan up front that lays out which videos to make and what to spend. It fits a Utah County company with a real product launch budget better than a shop that needs one quick ad.
Treasure Rock is a family owned studio in Orem that does live action video, animation, illustration, 3D models, scripts and voiceovers. Its services list includes explainer videos, commercials, and photos and videos made for Amazon product listings, plus packaging and logo design. It also produces its own animated kids show, Mighty Man. If you sell a product on Amazon or need a cartoon that explains what your software does, this is a good first call.
PetersenWest is a branding agency on Mountainway Drive in Orem that also shoots product photography and video and builds Shopify stores. Video is a smaller part of its work than brand design, so hire it when the video is one piece of a bigger job, for example a new brand look, a store and the product shots to fill it.
ISSIMO works from Innovation Way in Lehi and calls itself a story agency. It spends a lot of time up front reading your pitch decks, reports and interviews before it writes anything, then produces videos for brand launches, fundraising and company leadership. One quote on its homepage credits an ISSIMO video at an annual gala with doubling that night's donations. A Utah County nonprofit planning a fundraising dinner is a good fit.
Chamber Media is on Automall Drive in American Fork and makes video ads and then buys the ad space to run them, on social platforms, YouTube and streaming TV. Its about page describes 12,000 square feet of studio space, and its homepage says it works with brands doing $1 million to $100 million a year. A Utah County product company already spending real money on Meta ads is the right size here. A local service business is not.
Kaleidoscope Pictures is a film and television production company in an office on 100 East in downtown Provo. It develops and shoots feature films and TV series, makes branded content for companies, and sells post-production on its own. Most local businesses will not need a film studio, but if you are making a documentary about your company or a series for a streaming channel, this is the Utah County shop built for it.
We started from what comes up when you search for video production in Utah: the Clutch and The Manifest lists, DesignRush, shoots.video, and a long run of pages from Beverly Boy Productions, a national company with a page for Orem, Lehi, Spanish Fork and nearly every other town. We left Beverly Boy out because we could not find a Utah County office on its site.
For everyone else, we kept only companies that list an address in a Utah County city on their own website and show the same city on an independent profile, usually Clutch. We checked both on October 29, 2026. That cut more than half the names. Some studios list Provo or Orem on Clutch but give no address on their own site. One says Lehi on its site and Saratoga Springs on Clutch. One old studio domain now forwards to a photographer's site, and another is for sale. Salt Lake City studios are not on this list because our sister newsletter covers them.
The order is by fit for a small or mid-size local business, not by size or fame. Companies that work with service businesses, builders and local events come first. Ecommerce ad shops and film studios come last. No company paid to be here, and our own newsletter is left off because it sells ads, not video.
Most owners who search for a video company want one of five things. Knowing which one you want before you call saves you from paying a film crew to make a 15 second Instagram clip.
Most of the companies on this list do not post prices, so you will get a quote after a call. That quote usually comes in one of three shapes. A project price covers one video or a set of videos from script to final file. A day rate covers a crew and gear for a shoot day, with editing billed on top. A monthly subscription, like Social Paragon's, buys a set number of filming hours each month plus editing.
Two companies here do publish numbers. Social Paragon lists plans at $695 a month for one hour of filming, $1,390 for two hours and $2,085 for three. Creative Media Group rents its Orem sound stage for $90 an hour or $650 a day. Whatever shape the quote takes, ask how many finished videos you get, how long each one runs, how many rounds of changes are included, and whether you get the raw footage.
Remember that a finished video costs money twice: once to make, and again to put in front of people. If you are budgeting a full campaign, read our guide to what marketing agencies cost in Utah before you split the money between production and ad spend.
Every company here will take a free call. Ask these and write the answers down.
A new video does nothing sitting on a hard drive. Put it on your Google Business Profile, your homepage and your social accounts, then decide whether to pay to show it to more people. Our guide to where to advertise in Utah County compares the options, from Meta ads to I-15 billboards. If you need help running those ads, see our list of Utah County marketing agencies.
We also sell ads in this newsletter, so weigh this accordingly: Provo FOMO goes to just over 3,000 Utah County subscribers each weekday, and you can test one issue for $99 with a link to your new video. Local businesses can also get listed in the Provo FOMO Local Directory for $99 a month. And if you want to cut your own short clips between professional shoots, the free AI 101 class covers using AI tools to write scripts and captions.
