10 Utah County Marketing Agencies for Local Businesses

Utah County has more marketing agencies than most owners expect, and a lot of them work for national software and ecommerce brands, not for a dentist in Orem. This list covers ten firms with an office in Provo, Orem, American Fork or Lehi, and says plainly what kind of business each one fits.

Quick answer

For a small or mid-size Utah County business, start with Sebo Marketing in Provo or REVITY in American Fork for Google ads and local search, Set Fire Creative in Orem for social media ads, and Big Red Jelly in Provo for a new website. The bigger Lehi firms, Big Leap, Avalaunch Media and 97th Floor, are a better fit once you have a real monthly budget and several locations or a national market.

  • Every agency here has an office in the Utah County city listed, checked on its own site and on its Clutch profile on October 27, 2026.
  • Nobody paid to be on this list, and our own newsletter is not on it.
  • Lehi agencies tend to serve national brands. Provo and Orem shops tend to serve local ones.
  • Ask who will run your account day to day before you sign anything.
1

Sebo Marketing

Provo
Best for: Local service businesses that need Google ads and local search

Sebo runs search engine optimization, Google Ads including Local Service Ads, Facebook and Instagram ads, and builds WordPress and Webflow sites, all from an office on University Avenue in downtown Provo. The work it shows on its homepage is for the kind of companies that live on phone calls: law offices, auto repair, pest control. If you want the phone to ring when someone in Orem searches for what you do, this is a short drive to a meeting.

Services: SEO and local SEO, Google Ads and Local Service Ads, Facebook and Instagram ads, Website design
2

REVITY Marketing Agency

American Fork
Best for: Home services, healthcare and professional firms that want one agency for everything

REVITY works out of an office off 820 East in American Fork and covers search, pay per click, paid social, email and text marketing, video, branding, reputation management and websites. Its own site names local Utah businesses, home services, healthcare practices and professional services firms as the clients it builds for. That makes it a reasonable single call for a roofing company or a dental group that does not want to manage three vendors.

Services: SEO, Pay per click, Paid social, Email and SMS, Reputation management, Web design
3

Set Fire Creative

Orem
Best for: Businesses that sell through Facebook and Instagram

Set Fire is an Orem shop on 1350 West whose work leans toward social media: organic posting, paid social ads, paid search, SEO, landing pages and conversion work on those pages. Its Clutch profile puts social media at half of what it does. If your customers find you scrolling Instagram rather than searching Google, start here.

Services: Organic social media, Paid social ads, Paid search, SEO, Landing pages
4

Big Red Jelly

Provo
Best for: A new or rebuilt website, plus hosting and upkeep

Big Red Jelly builds and maintains websites on WordPress, Shopify, Wix and WooCommerce from an office on North University Avenue in Provo, and sells hosting, maintenance and hourly support alongside the build. It also offers branding, content and growth plans. For an owner whose site was built by a nephew in 2015 and now breaks every time a plugin updates, this is the right kind of shop.

Services: Web design and development, Shopify and WordPress, Hosting and maintenance, Branding, Content
5

Big Leap

Lehi
Best for: Multi-location businesses and franchises that live on search

Big Leap is a larger search shop on Thanksgiving Way in Lehi. It does SEO, local SEO, paid search and social, content, digital PR and reputation management, and its site lists multi-location and franchise businesses, contractors and HVAC, legal, medical practices and roofers among the industries it serves. The old Foxtail Marketing domain now forwards to Big Leap. Expect a bigger team and more process than a Provo boutique.

Services: SEO and local SEO, Paid search and social, Content, Digital PR, Reputation management
6

Boostability

Lehi
Best for: Owners who want a packaged SEO plan instead of a custom retainer

Boostability is a Lehi SEO company that sells packaged search plans to small businesses directly and also does the SEO work behind other agencies' brands. Direct customers can buy local and listings SEO, content, link building, web design and Google and display ads. It suits an owner who wants a defined monthly plan more than a strategist in the room.

Services: Small business SEO packages, Local and listings SEO, Content, Web design, Google and display ads
7

Hales Creative

Provo
Best for: Brand identity and printed pieces

Hales Creative is a design studio on University Parkway in Provo that does brand strategy, logos and brand standards, websites, and printed work like magazines, catalogs, brochures, annual reports and packaging. It is the call to make when the problem is how you look, not how many leads you get, for example a new logo and a brochure for a trade show at the Utah Valley Convention Center.

Services: Brand strategy and identity, Website design, Print and publication design, Packaging
8

PetersenWest

Orem
Best for: Product companies that need branding, a Shopify store and photos

PetersenWest is a branding agency on Mountainway Drive in Orem. It designs brand identities, builds custom Shopify sites, and shoots product photography and video. If you make a physical product and your packaging, website and photos all look like they came from different companies, this is the fix.

Services: Brand identity, Shopify websites, Product photography, Video production, Packaging design
9

Avalaunch Media

Lehi
Best for: Companies that want an outside marketing department, including a fractional CMO

Avalaunch is headquartered on Maple Loop Drive in Lehi, with a second office in San Francisco. Its service list is long: a fractional CMO, strategy sprints, advertising, SEO, creative, web and conversion work, social media, public relations, email, analytics and market research. That breadth fits a company with no marketing lead of its own that wants someone to plan the whole year, not just run ads.

Services: Fractional CMO, Advertising, SEO, Social media, Public relations, Email and automation
10

97th Floor

Lehi
Best for: B2B and software companies selling outside Utah

97th Floor works from Executive Parkway in Lehi on SEO, optimization for AI search tools, ads across more than 20 platforms, content and design. The industries it lists on its homepage are software, cybersecurity, manufacturing, finance and home services, and its case studies lean toward software. A Lindon software company selling nationally is a better match than a Springville bakery.

Services: SEO, AI search optimization, Paid advertising, Content, Design

How we picked these Utah County agencies

We started from the pages that come up when you search for a marketing agency in Utah County: Clutch, The Manifest, DesignRush, GoodFirms, Expertise.com and agency directories. Several of those lists say some spots are paid. We then kept only firms that list a street address in a Utah County city on their own website and show the same city on an independent profile. We checked both on October 27, 2026.

That cut a lot of names. Some well known Utah agencies had no address anywhere on their own site. Others turned out to be in Riverton, South Jordan or Draper, which is Salt Lake County. One American Fork agency's website now forwards to Big Leap. One Provo agency is listed by a directory as having no physical office here.

The order is by fit for a small or mid-size local business, not by size or fame. Agencies that show local service clients and offer Google ads, local search and websites come first. Firms built for national brands come last. No agency paid to be here, and we left out our own newsletter, because it is an ad seller, not an agency.

Which kind of agency you actually need

Most owners who call an agency need one of four things, and naming which one saves you a month of sales calls.

  • More phone calls from Google. You want search ads, a cleaned up Google Business Profile and local SEO. Sebo Marketing, REVITY, Big Leap and Boostability do this.
  • Sales from Instagram and Facebook. You want someone to make the ads and run the ad account. Set Fire Creative leans this way, and REVITY and Sebo also run paid social.
  • A website that works. Big Red Jelly, PetersenWest for Shopify stores, and Hales Creative build sites. Most of the search shops build them too.
  • A logo, packaging or printed pieces. Hales Creative and PetersenWest are design studios first.

Lehi agencies versus Provo and Orem shops

The office parks along Thanksgiving Way, Ashton Boulevard and Executive Parkway in Lehi hold some of the largest agencies in the state. Their own sites show work for software companies, franchises and national brands, and they are built for clients who sign long contracts and want a team of specialists. A single location restaurant in Spanish Fork will usually be a small account there.

The Provo and Orem firms on this list are smaller and closer to the kind of business that reads Provo FOMO. Sebo's homepage shows law offices and auto shops, and REVITY names home services and healthcare practices. A smaller shop may hand some work to outside contractors, so ask who does the parts they do not do in house.

Questions to ask before you sign with a marketing firm

Every agency on this list will offer a free call. Use it to ask these, and write down the answers.

  • Who runs my account each week, and can I meet that person before I sign?
  • Do I own the Google Ads account, the Meta ad account, the website and the domain if we part ways?
  • What do you report each month, and is it calls and booked jobs or just clicks?
  • How long is the contract, and what does it take to cancel?
  • Can you show me work for another business like mine in Utah County?
  • What do you send to a contractor or freelancer instead of doing it yourselves?

When you do not need an agency yet

A lot of businesses in Utah Valley are not ready for a monthly retainer, and that is fine. If you have one location and no ad budget yet, start with the free things: fill out every field in your Google Business Profile, ask your last ten happy customers for a Google review, and get listed in local directories. The Provo FOMO Local Directory is one option at $99 a month.

If you want to learn to run some of this yourself, the free AI 101 class covers using AI tools to write ad copy, emails and social posts for a local business.

You can also buy local attention directly instead of paying someone to manage ads. We sell ads in this newsletter, so weigh this accordingly: Provo FOMO goes to just over 3,000 Utah County subscribers each weekday, and you can test a single issue for $99 before committing to anything. It sits beside Google ads, Facebook ads, KSL classifieds, radio and billboards on I-15 as one more way to reach people, not a replacement for an agency. If you are hiring help in house, you can post a local job too.

Common questions

What is the best marketing agency in Utah County for a small business?
It depends on what you need. For calls from Google, look at Sebo Marketing in Provo or REVITY in American Fork. For Instagram and Facebook ads, Set Fire Creative in Orem. For a new website, Big Red Jelly in Provo. Ask each one to show you work for a business like yours.
Do I need a Utah County agency, or can I hire one in Salt Lake City?
Either can run your ads. A local agency knows that Orem and Lehi are different markets, can meet you in person, and has likely worked for businesses near yours. Plenty of good firms in Salt Lake County serve Utah County clients too.
How much does a marketing agency in Utah cost?
Agencies on this list do not publish fixed rates on their own sites, so ask for a written quote. Get the monthly fee, the minimum contract length, and your ad spend as three separate numbers, because ad spend goes to Google or Meta, not to the agency.
Should I own my Google Ads and Facebook ad accounts?
Yes. Ask the agency to run ads inside accounts that are in your business's name, with them added as users. If you leave, you keep the history, the audiences and the billing.
Did any agency pay to be on this list?
No. Nobody paid for placement. Provo FOMO sells newsletter ads, which is why our newsletter is mentioned as an ad option and is not ranked as an agency.
