Hand-picked Utah County happenings, straight to your inbox. No fluff, no spam, easy to leave.
Search for web design in Provo and half of what comes up is a firm in Texas or Pennsylvania with a page that has Provo in the title. This list is eight companies with an office in Provo, Orem or Pleasant Grove, what each one builds, and what it charges when it says so on its own site.
For a small Utah County business, Big Red Jelly and Sebo Marketing in Provo build WordPress sites and can run your Google search work too. If you would rather pay monthly than pay for a build, Clear Presence in Pleasant Grove lists a site with local SEO for $299 a month and Bright Bridge Web in Provo lists managed sites from $199 a month. Fluid22 in Orem says its builds start at $5,000, and PetersenWest in Orem builds Shopify stores for product companies.
Big Red Jelly works out of an office on North University Avenue in Provo and builds on WordPress, WooCommerce, Wix, Shopify and HubSpot. It also sells WordPress hosting, maintenance plans, hourly support and domain management, so the same company that builds the site can update plugins and fix the contact form when it stops sending. If your current site was built years ago by someone who no longer answers email, this is the kind of shop to call first.
Sebo is in downtown Provo on University Avenue. It builds WordPress and Webflow sites and landing pages, sells hosting and maintenance, and runs search engine optimization and Google Ads. The clients on its homepage include Provo Car Doctors, Orange Pest Control, Sumsion Business Law and the Utah Valley Marathon. That mix fits a business that needs the phone to ring, where the site and the Google ads have to work together.
Clear Presence has an office on 2000 West in Pleasant Grove and sells its work as monthly plans. Its Build plan is listed at $299 a month and covers a custom site or a rebuild, hosting, the domain, updates, monthly local SEO, Google Business Profile management and a monthly report. The site says there are no contracts and no setup fees. It names American Fork, Lehi, Orem and Lindon businesses as the ones it serves, and its testimonials come from a landscaping company and a miniature golf course.
Bright Bridge Web is a Provo development shop. Its managed website plans are listed at $199, $349 and $549 a month, month to month, and for a new site the build is part of the plan. It also sells website accessibility audits at $2,500 and will take over web apps that another developer or an AI tool started and left unfinished. The BYU Choir Alumni site is one of the takeovers it shows. This is a good fit if you need someone technical more than you need a new look.
Infogenix lists an office on 800 East in Orem and says it has been at this for over 25 years. Besides design, it writes the programming behind a site: ecommerce systems, custom web applications, mobile apps and connections to other software. It also runs Google and Microsoft ads and SEO, and hosts and supports the sites it builds. Pick it when your site has to do something, take orders, show live inventory or log customers in, and not just describe your business.
Fluid22 works from Industrial Park Road in Orem and is one of the few local firms that puts its prices on its website. Its FAQ says projects start at $5,000, a typical project runs $8,000 to $12,000, and larger ecommerce or custom builds reach $25,000. It says most sites go live six to eight weeks after kickoff once you hand over your content. It also does branding, content writing, hosting and webmaster work after launch.
PetersenWest is a branding agency on Mountainway Drive in Orem that builds custom websites on Shopify and shoots product photography and video. Its case studies include the solar installer Blue Raven and Pivot Door Company. If you sell a physical product online and your packaging, store and photos look like three different companies made them, this firm does all three.
Hales Creative is a design firm on University Parkway in Provo. Its websites page describes sites built for online ticketing, member logins and staff back ends, including one for a nonprofit with a searchable research library and one for Elevated Transit, a Utah transportation company. It is also a branding and print studio, so a new logo, a brochure and the site can come from the same designers.
We searched web design Provo, website design Orem and web design Utah County and read every firm on the first page and in the directories that rank: BrightLocal and Clutch. A lot of what ranks is not local. CodeWCG has a page for nearly every Provo neighborhood, and its own contact page lists Houston. EZ Marketing has Provo and Orem pages, and its contact page lists Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Clutch's Provo design list, which says Clutch may earn a fee for some placements, puts firms from Draper, Riverton, South Jordan and Murray in four of its top six spots.
We kept a firm only if its own website shows a Provo, Orem or Pleasant Grove office and an independent profile places it in Utah County, both checked on October 28, 2026. We dropped firms whose sites showed no address, one Orem developer whose site would not load, and several names that only exist in directories. Every price on this page comes from the firm's own site. The order is by fit for a small or mid-size local business that needs a working site, not by size. If you need more than a website, our list of Utah County marketing agencies covers ad and search firms.
Only three of the eight firms post prices, and they show the two ways local businesses pay for a site. You either pay once for the build and then pay for hosting, or you pay a monthly fee that covers the build, hosting and changes.
| Firm | How you pay | Price on its own site |
|---|---|---|
| Clear Presence Marketing | Monthly, no contract | $299 a month for site, hosting, domain and local SEO |
| Bright Bridge Web | Monthly, month to month | $199, $349 or $549 a month, build included |
| Fluid22 | One-time project | From $5,000, typically $8,000 to $12,000, up to $25,000 |
The pricing pages we read for the monthly plans do not say what happens to the site if you cancel. That is the question to ask before you sign. With a one-time build on WordPress or Shopify, the site usually lives in an account you can log into, and you can move it to a new host or a new designer. With a monthly plan, the firm often hosts the site on its own servers, and leaving can mean starting over.
Get three things in writing: the domain is registered in your business's name, you get the site files or an export if you leave, and you have your own login to the site and to Google Analytics.
The platform decides who else can work on your site later and how much of it you can change yourself.

A new site does not bring in customers by itself. Plenty of people in Provo and Orem find a local business on Google Maps, so fill out every field of your Google Business Profile, link it to the new site, and ask your last ten customers for a review. A listing in the Provo FOMO Local Directory is another local link, at $99 a month.
If you want to write your own page copy and blog posts with help from AI tools, the free AI 101 class walks local owners through it.
To send people to the new site right away, you can buy local attention directly. We sell ads in this newsletter, so weigh that: Provo FOMO goes to just over 3,000 Utah County subscribers every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and you can run a single issue for $99 to see if readers click through. It sits next to Google ads, Facebook ads and KSL classifieds as one option, not instead of a good website.
