Watch the water in every canyon right now
June snowmelt has the Provo River and the canyon creeks running fast and cold. The flow looks pretty from the trail, but the current is strong and the water is dangerously cold this time of year. Crews and signs warn people to keep kids and dogs back from the edge near Bridal Veil Falls and along the Provo River Parkway.
Utah City keeps rising on the Vineyard lakefront
The big Utah City development along Utah Lake in Vineyard keeps adding buildings, walkways, and businesses. The plan is a whole new downtown on the old steel mill land, with homes, shops, and lakefront paths.
