Best restaurants in Lehi: Edna's for a family dinner, Harvest for date night, R&R BBQ for barbecue, Tsunami for sushi, Village Baker for breakfast.
Order the Roy Pizza, pink sauce with house-made Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and basil, or the meatloaf made with Christiansen Farms beef and pork, with mashed potatoes and buttered peas. Edna's is on 850 East, north of Main Street on the east side of Lehi, and the kids' meal is penne in pink sauce, a cheeseburger or a cheese pizza.
Order the smoked brisket shepherd's pie, the brown butter pumpkin ravioli or the wagyu short rib osso buco from the dinner menu. Harvest is the sit-down restaurant at Thanksgiving Point, and its greens and herbs come from the on-site Curiosity Farms.
Order the Tonkotsu Black, pork broth with chashu, kikurage mushrooms and a seasoned egg, or the Spicy Chicken Ramen at mild, spicy or hot. Jinya is on Thanksgiving Way, at Thanksgiving Point, near Harvest.
Order the French toast with buttermilk syrup or an egg sandwich on a French bread bun for breakfast, or the broccoli cheese soup with a baked roll later in the day. It is on Digital Drive, and the kids' menu has PB&J, grilled cheese, ham and cheddar or turkey and provolone, each with a juice box.
Order the Apple Pancake, baked with Granny Smith apples and a cinnamon glaze, or the Dutch Baby with whipped butter, lemon and powdered sugar. The Lehi restaurant is on Traverse Parkway, and Tsunami, R&R BBQ and Taqueria 27 are also at Traverse Mountain.
Tsunami serves sushi and Asian-inspired dishes on Traverse Parkway. Sushi chefs Kris Bodeen and Scott Coulter opened the original in Sugar House in 2002.
Order the pork belly or duck confit tacos; the kitchen cooks from scratch and the bar is known for tequila and mezcal. Taqueria 27 is at Traverse Mountain and is locally and veteran owned.
Order a one-, two- or three-meat plate of brisket, pulled pork, boneless chicken thigh or spicy andouille, with creamed corn, baked beans or garlic mashers with brown gravy. R&R is on Traverse Parkway, and kids get mini BBQ sliders in chicken or pork, or mac and cheese, with a side and a drink.
Pick by what your table needs. For a Saturday, Edna's, Jinya, Village Baker, Tsunami, Taqueria 27 and R&R BBQ list Saturday service on their own sites, and Harvest serves Saturday dinner only. The Original Pancake House does not post hours, so call the restaurant before you drive over.
For kids, Edna's, R&R BBQ and Village Baker print kids' menus with named dishes: penne in pink sauce, mini BBQ sliders, PB&J with a juice box.
For a reservation, Harvest, Taqueria 27 and Edna's take them through their sites, and Tsunami recommends one. For a birthday or a larger group, Harvest has a private dining room you request through a form.
For vegetarians, Jinya lists Flying V Harvest ramen and Harvest has the stuffed butternut squash. For takeout, Village Baker and Jinya take online orders.
